Stream Restoration

Water & Earth Technologies has pioneered an approach to stream restoration and reclamation that couples a sound engineering approach with principles of geomorphology.  This approach has been used to restore or relocate over 5 miles of stream channels in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.

HIGH ALTITUDE STREAM RESTORATION

2007-2009

Design-Build project to daylight the East Fork of the Arkansas River from an underground pipeline through a waste rock fill at high altitude.

ABANDONED COAL MINE (VERMEJO PARK RANCH)

2010-2014

Relocation and restoration of 2000 feet of intermittent stream channel, highly impacted by mining activities in the early 1900's.

EPHEMERAL STREAM RELOCATION (ARIZONA)

2013-Present

Relocate and stabilize 5 miles of ephemeral drainage channel.  Construction anticipated in 2020.
